It is interesting to me how much our world has changed in the past 20 years. People don’t really go out as much. Now, we can use the Internet for many of the same purposes that used to get us out of the house. We used to go shopping, but now more and more people are doing their shopping online. We used to go socialize at different community events. Many of which are underattended because people are at home on the computer. I agree with Stoll – family togetherness has mostly disappeared. Nowadays, kids have their computers. That’s their passtime. The parents relax and watch TV in the evenings, while kids are chatting and checking their MySpace. People are becoming hermits. Eep.
